Construction is one of the few industries left where what you can do matters more than where you went to school. We have operators who started as laborers, foremen who started as operators, and estimators who started in the field. What every one of them has in common is that they showed up on time, paid attention, and told somebody when a problem appeared instead of hiding it until it got expensive.
Beast Construction Inc runs work in Virginia, Florida, Utah, California and Wyoming, across excavation and site development, concrete, utilities, structures, remodeling and commercial construction. That variety is the best part of working here: you are not doing one repetitive task forever, and there is a real path from the ground to running a crew for people who want it.
We are also blunt about what the work is. It is outdoors. It is early. It is hot in Florida and cold in Wyoming. Weather changes plans. Some weeks are long. If that appeals to you rather than discouraging you, keep reading.

Specific pay, schedule and benefit details are discussed openly during the interview for the role and state you are applying in, because they vary by position and market. We do not post inflated ranges to collect applications.
Safety Is A Condition Of Employment
We are not interested in anybody getting hurt to save fifteen minutes. Utility locates get called and verified. Trenches get sloped, benched or shored, and a competent person inspects them. Equipment gets inspected daily and tagged out when it is not right. Personal protective equipment is worn. Anyone on our site — employee, subcontractor or supplier — has the authority to stop work over an unsafe condition without explaining themselves first.
If you have worked places where speaking up about safety made you a target, that is not how we operate.

Heavy Equipment Operator
Excavator, dozer, skid steer, backhoe, loader and roller work on site development, foundations, drainage, roads and utilities.
- Two or more years running excavators or dozers
- Ability to read grade stakes and work to elevation
- Trench safety awareness and utility locate discipline
- GPS or laser grade control experience a plus
- Valid driver's license; CDL and DOT medical card a strong plus
- Daily equipment inspection and basic field maintenance
General Laborer
The role every crew depends on: grade work, pipe and structure setting, forming, concrete placement, site cleanup and running small equipment as you learn.
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Comfortable with physical outdoor work in all weather
- Willingness to learn equipment, grade and layout
- Ability to follow safety direction without argument
- No experience required — we train the willing
- Path to operator or foreman for people who show up
Carpenter & Finish Carpenter
Framing, decks, additions, remodeling, trim, doors, cabinets and stairs on residential and light commercial work.
- Framing and layout skills, or strong finish trim ability
- Own hand tools and basic power tools
- Able to read plans and build to dimension
- Deck, addition and remodel experience valued
- Attention to detail on visible finish work
- Comfortable working in occupied homes respectfully
Foreman & Superintendent
Run crews and jobs: schedule, layout, quality, safety, material coordination, documentation and client communication on site.
- Proven experience leading construction crews
- Able to plan a day and keep it moving
- Layout, grade and plan-reading proficiency
- Comfortable talking to owners, inspectors and subs
- Daily reporting, photos and quantity tracking
- Safety leadership rather than safety paperwork
Concrete Finisher
Forming, reinforcement placement, placement and finishing of flatwork, footings, walls, slabs and commercial flatwork.
- Screeding, floating and troweling experience
- Forming and rebar placement ability
- Understanding of joint layout and curing
- Broom, trowel and stamped finish experience valued
- Early starts and weather-driven scheduling
- Pride in flatwork that stays flat
CDL Driver & Equipment Hauler
Haul aggregate, spoil and equipment between yards and job sites, and support crews with material deliveries.
- Current CDL with clean driving record
- Dump truck and lowboy or tag trailer experience
- Load securement and DOT compliance knowledge
- Pre-trip and post-trip inspection discipline
- Ability to back into tight residential sites
- Willingness to help on the ground between hauls

How do I apply if there is no online portal?

If writing is not your strength, call - we care far more about what you can run and how you show up than about how your resume is formatted.
Do I need my own tools or equipment?
Carpenters and finish trades should have their own hand tools and basic power tools. Operators do not need to own equipment - we own it. Laborers need work boots, appropriate clothing and the willingness to be on time. We provide hard hats, high-visibility vests, hearing and eye protection and any job-specific personal protective equipment.
Is there travel, and is it paid?
Some. We work in five states, and larger projects sometimes need crews away from home for a stretch. Travel expectations are stated clearly before you accept a role, and out-of-town work includes lodging and per diem arrangements agreed in advance. Local work is the majority for most positions, particularly in Virginia and Utah.
Do you hire people without construction experience?
Yes, for general labor. Reliability, a clean driving record where driving is required, the ability to take direction and a genuine willingness to learn matter more than a resume. Our best operators mostly started on the ground with a shovel and a rake. If you show up on time and pay attention, you will be taught.
Do you use subcontractors, and how do I get on your bid list?
Yes, for licensed specialty trades and for capacity in some markets. Send your company information, license and insurance certificates and trade specialties to vendors@beastconstructioninc.com. We look for subcontractors who carry proper coverage, hold current licensing, communicate about schedule, and stand behind their work the same way we do.
