Where Beast Construction Inc Works — Five States

One contractor, five states, and a genuinely local approach in each. Virginia is home. Florida, Utah, California and Wyoming each get crews, equipment and permitting knowledge matched to how construction actually works there.

Service areas

Choose Your State

Each state page covers the soils, climate, permitting and typical project types you will actually encounter there — not a template with the state name swapped in. Start with yours.

Virginia

Home state. Based in Victoria, Lunenburg County. Deep coverage of Brunswick and Dinwiddie counties, Southside and Central Virginia, and the greater Richmond area. Piedmont red clay, coastal plain sand, VDOT entrance permits and health department septic work.

Virginia services

Florida

Sand over limestone, a high water table and muck pockets. Fill pads to finished floor elevation, dewatered trenching, limerock base, retention ponds, monolithic slabs and hurricane-code construction along the I-4 and I-75 corridors.

Florida services

Utah

Bench and alluvial cobble that digs hard, steep lots, deep frost, mountain snow loads and seismic detailing. Basement digs, retaining walls, hillside driveways, secondary water lines and wind-and-snow rated shops along the Wasatch Front.

Utah services

California

Expansive clay, hillside grading ordinances, seismic design, stormwater plan compliance, wildfire hardening and energy code. Engineered fill, retaining walls, drainage repair, defensible space clearing and documented compaction testing.

California services

Wyoming

High plains bentonite soils, extreme design wind, drifting snow, deep frost and a short season. Access and lease roads, culverts and cattle guards, pads and foundations, and wind-rated equipment buildings on remote sites.

Wyoming services

Not sure if you are in range?

Coverage areas have soft edges. If your property is near one of our regions — or if the project is large enough to justify a longer haul — call and ask. We will tell you honestly whether we are the right contractor for your location.

How multi-state works

The Same Standards In Every State

Working in five states only helps you if the quality does not change between them. What travels with the Beast Construction name is the way we run work: written scopes instead of verbal understandings, compaction and base preparation verified rather than assumed, permits pulled properly, one accountable point of contact, and change orders priced before they happen instead of after.

What changes state to state is everything the ground and the code demand. Footing depth in Wyoming has nothing in common with footing depth in Florida. A driveway entrance in Virginia goes through VDOT; in California it goes through an encroachment permit and possibly a grading permit. Expansive clay in the Central Valley and bentonite in the Powder River Basin call for the same discipline and different details. Knowing which is which is the job.

Our estimating team works from the specific parcel: jurisdiction, soils, access, utilities, flood or fire zone, and season. That is why our state pages read differently from one another, and why our quotes list conditions rather than hiding them in a lump sum. Start with the services overview if you want to see the full range of what we can bring to any of these states.

Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about how we cover five states.

Which states does Beast Construction Inc work in?

Virginia, Florida, Utah, California and Wyoming. Virginia is our home state and our deepest coverage, with crews working across Southside and Central Virginia and the greater Richmond area. The other four states have established coverage areas and crews scheduled by region and season.

Do you charge travel or mobilization fees?

Mobilization is a real cost and we show it honestly. Inside our core coverage areas it is built into the price with no separate travel charge. For remote sites or projects well outside a coverage area, mobilization appears as its own line item so you can see exactly what it is - we do not hide it inside a unit price.

Are your crews local to each state, or do you travel in?

Both, depending on the state and the scope. Virginia and Utah run local crews and equipment. Florida, California and Wyoming projects are staffed and scheduled by region, and larger scopes may bring in equipment and a superintendent from another division. Whoever is on your site works under the same Beast Construction standards and the same single point of contact.

How do licensing and permitting work across five states?

Licensing, registration, bonding and permitting requirements vary by state, county and city. Our office confirms the correct credentials for the specific jurisdiction before work begins and pulls the required permits as part of the project. If a scope requires a specialty license we do not hold in that state, we say so and bring in a properly licensed trade partner rather than working around it.

Can you handle a project in a state that is not on this list?

Sometimes, for the right project. Larger commercial and civil scopes occasionally justify working outside our five established states. Call either number with the location and scope and we will give you a straight answer about whether we are the right contractor for it - and if we are not, we will tell you that too.
